Hey all, I bought iLife '11 back in the day and when Mavericks came out, had 6.0.5 on my Mac. I never got around to updating GarageBand to any of the new versions, but now was hoping to update it to the newest version, 10.0.3. But, after the Yosemite release, GarageBand now costs $5! I read in another discussion that someone just clicked Buy App and the App Store gave them a message along the lines of 'Since you already have an older version of the app, you can download this version for free.' I tried that, but I got no such message and the app store still wanted to charge me the $5 for the app (this was with the account 6.0.5 is said to be bought under). Does anybody know a good way to upgrade without having to re-buy the app?
